Is it even love?

This is a question we don’t ask ourselves often but it is needed very much. You see we are humans and have the intellectual power to think about a lot of things. Like if someone is being kind to us, is it just a gesture of kindness, or do they have some selfish reasons to do the same?!

I say it from experience when I tell you to ask this question to yourself and try to answer it as truthfully as possible. Some say you need to be in someone’s shoes to understand what they do, I say that is wrong. This universe and our creator, the almighty God is only as much creative as we are. Each and everything we see from the breaking of hearts to people falling in love, they have a pattern of certain things. This is the reason, you must have heard of the saying, “History repeats itself”. History and its repetition is the perfect example of how there are patterns in each and everything.

Now you must be asking, how does it relate to my first question?! Well, we are all very learned people. We are very capable and good at giving advice to our friends when they break their hearts, or when they don't notice the red flags in a relationship. But when the same is happening to us, we and our so smart brains decide to hide all the wrong deeds being done by our so-called “Love” and all the red flags seem white, and all our friends who tell us not to move forward as jealous people. This is where we ask ourselves the famous question, “Is this love?”. Believe me, 90% of your problems would get solved if you do this. Your heart would be broken a little less and you would see a more clear picture of the person you spend time with.

A big example is me. I used to give trust like Santa gives gifts. Until all my trust was out there in the world and I really appreciate each and everyone who has ever broken my heart and shattered my trust. I would not be this confident writing about it or be this better version of me if not for you. This is what heartbreaks give you, Life Lessons. You start to cherish them but why get your precious heartbroken? You can straight away get to the lessons learned from it.

So my precious audience, go out in the world and explore this world, but anytime someone is being kind, doing good, or you start to fall for someone remember to ask yourself, “Is this love?!”. Believe me, your heart does not only have the job to pump blood, but it knows when someone actually loves you. Trust yourself and your instincts, you’ll never be fooled or heartbroken again.
